With nearly 20 years in the event industry, Emily’s journey started as a birthday hostess and event coordinator at Geyser Falls Water Theme Park, eventually leading her to a decade of corporate event planning with the Mississippi Economic Council and State Chamber of Commerce. In 2020, she turned her passion for weddings and events into Sweet Southern Occasions.

Her dedication to her clients, attention to detail, and genuine love for celebrating life’s milestones have earned her recognition as one of Mississippi’s top wedding planners and entrepreneurs.
